1 Initiating a dialogue This lesson allows students to get started speaking Chinese right away. This lesson teaches how students can initiate a dialogue in any situation.
2 Introductions in Chinese This lesson teaches the proper method of addressing oneself and others in a business environment. CT introduces the concept of question-asking pertaining to names and job titles.
3 Restaurant skills Doing business in China entails frequent restaurant visits. This lesson deals with practical skills in ordering food, giving directions and counting.
4 Finding an English speaker Often you will need to identify an English speaker since you will be unable to communicate everything you need to in Chinese. This lessons teaches students on how to find an English speaker in various situations.
5 Time and Date This lesson teaches the concepts of time and date. We simulate the scenario of setting a business appointment with a trading company to help students learn.
6 Directions This lesson teaches the concepts of asking for and understanding directions. This class will be practical for anybody who ever uses a taxi or needs to get around in China.
7 Currency Exchange This lesson introduces the concept of money. We use sample scenarios of typical money exchange situations as a tool.
8 Networking This lesson introduces social networking. We use a sample scenario where the student would initiate conversation with another businessman on an airplane.
9 Hotel Reservations This lesson introduces the practical situation of dealing with hotel reservations. Common requests such as checking in, requesting meals and making airport transport reservations are covered.
10 Dining Out Business meals are among the most frequent activities for business people. This lesson introduces dialogue related to dining out during formal occasions such as business banquets.
